Military time — also called the 24-hour clock — runs from 0000 (midnight) to 2359 (one minute before midnight). To convert military time to standard 12-hour time, subtract 12 from any hour greater than 1200 and append PM; for hours from 0100–1159, just append AM (with 0000 being 12:00 AM).
